Drake VS Kia Shine

30033984Straight From Drakes Blog Himself

“There have been questions posed to me the last few days about the writing of Best I Ever Had and I figured I’d take the time to clear the air directly. I have never met Kia Shine or worked with him. I wrote the entire composition in Toronto and I borrowed one line from a Lil Wayne song that he produced the BEAT for. The claims of 25% ownership are false and for a artist to brag about splits on a song is distasteful to begin with.”

So I Guess Kia Shine Is Lying To Ride The Hype Around Drake…

UPDATE: The Plot Thickens..

Kia Shine Supposedly Won A BMI Award for “Co-Writeing” Best I Ever Had. That is not entirely true, Kia Shine helped Lil Wayne Write The Hook & Melody Of A Lil Wayne Song Called “Do It For The Boy”

In The Song Wayne Says “We Can Do It Real Big… Bigger Then You’ve Ever Done It” Which Is In Drake’s song. which he even said himself “I borrowed one line from a Lil Wayne song”.

There is no doubt the hook melody’s  on both songs sound similar but i don’t think its right for Kia Shine to go around saying he co-wrote “Best I Ever Had” When Drake wrote all they lyrics himself and only took one line from a lil Wayne Song that KIa Shine Just Happened to Produce For Lil Wayne.
